The popular messaging service has allowed its users to send messages to their phone numbers using the ‘click to chat’ feature for a long time now. WhatsApp's click-to-chat enables users to start a new chat with someone whose number isn’t saved in their phone. Users can create a link to chat with someone whose number they remember but are not saved in contacts.
