Google optimised Chrome to offer similar battery life as Safari on Mac

Google has made several optimisations to Chrome for Mac that helps it to offer improved battery life. These optimisations include eliminating unnecessary redraws, fine tuning iframes, tweaking timers, and streamlining data structures. These optimizations help to conserve power and result in battery life that is as good as Safari on Mac.
