Many Indian startups and consumer internet companies are skipping this year's Indian Premier League sponsorship due to the ongoing funding crunch in the technology industry worldwide. Byju's, PhonePe, Pristyn Care, Niyo, and many others won't be sponsoring this time. SoftBank portfolio companies Meesho and Cars24, which were sponsors of specific teams earlier, are also skipping the tournament.
