Match Group has won an appeal against Muzmatch, a Muslim dating app, which has been asked to change its name due to similarities. The company has now rebranded itself as Muzz, expressing concerns that the legal action taken against it is "deeply worrying for other start-ups in the dating sector". Muzz claimed that Match Group's legal action was a "tactic" to "maintain their globally dominant position".
