Google’s multi-billion dollar campus is on ‘hold’, here’s why

Google's Downtown West, a proposed 80-acre mega-campus in San Jose, has been paused due to the economic downturn, according to reports. The campus was intended to provide 20,000 jobs and includes 7.3m square feet of office space, 4,000 proposed housing units, 50,000 square feet of retail and cultural space and 15 acres of parks.
