Paytm to be a case study at Harvard Business School

Harvard Business School (HBS) will teach Paytm’s entrepreneurial journey as a case study in their Global Tech Entrepreneurship course. The study will cover the initial six years of Paytm's journey and India's infrastructure, funding and talent ecosystem, followed by the company’s challenges and achievements with the introduction of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in 2016. This is the second time Paytm will be taught at HBS - it was earlier included in the curriculum of HBS’ India Research Centre in 2017, highlighting Paytm's focus on enabling offline payments for small merchants.
