Aadhaar card is a crucial identity document and needs to be updated whenever there is a change in address or phone number. The government recommends users should update their biometric details after every ten years. Online update of address on your Aadhaar card can be done by paying Rs.50. UIDAI permits citizens to change addresses, view update history, check its validity, book appointments at Aadhaar Seva Kendra, lodge complaints, order PVC cards, and download e-Aadhaar from m-Aadhaar website. A registered mobile number is a must for availing all Aadhaar services through m-Aadhaar.
