Apple has reportedly created its own GPT language model-based chatbot called "AppleGPT" for internal use. It has provided aid to its staff in creating prototypes of upcoming features and providing summarised texts and answers during this time. However, there is no definitive plan for this chatbot to be released to the public, and approval is required for access to it. Apple is analyzing several potentials to use its generative AI chatbot; one of the possible uses is to assist AppleCare support staff in managing customers' issues more efficiently.
