Foldable smartphone shipments are set to exceed 100 million by 2027, with demand driven by regional factors, particularly in China, as well as growing consumer acceptance, a report by Counterpoint Research has said. The company predicted Samsung and Apple would lead sales. While Samsung has just launched two versions of its Galaxy Z phone, Apple is yet to unveil any plans for a foldable iPhone.
