Google starts rolling out in-line replies within announcement spaces in Chat, here’ how it works

Google Chat has launched a new in-line reply feature for Workspace users, which enables space members to respond or discuss an announcement within the group. The feature can help organise discussions, track replies, and ease the follow-up on questions. For new and existing announcement spaces, default activation is available, but space managers can toggle this feature according to their convenience in the setting.
