Paytm has tips for its customers to avoid money scams

Paytm has issued guidelines to its customers warning of the potential for fraud. Fraud occurs when someone is impersonating a bank to obtain personal information and other banking details. Paytm warned its customers never to divulge such information as it never calls its customers requesting such data. Paytm issued other warnings including not to respond to calls, messages, and SMSs requesting significant and confidential information, such as KYC completion. It also advised customers not to share Paytm credentials, enter UPI PIN, or scan a QR Code.
