Uber India launches Group Rides feature: What is it and how to use it

Uber India has introduced a new feature called Group Rides, allowing riders to share their journeys with up to three friends heading to the same destination. The feature splits the fare between the passengers, resulting in cost savings of up to 30%. To book a Group Ride, users need to update their Uber app, select the 'Services' tab, and tap on Group Rides. They can then invite friends, who can add their stops, and a driver will be assigned. The aim of Group Rides is to save money and reduce the number of vehicles on the road.
