China investigates this major Apple supplier, here’s why

Foxconn, the major contract manufacturer for Apple, is under investigation in four provinces in China, according to Chinese state media. The investigation involves tax inspections in Guangdong and Jiangsu provinces, as well as on-site investigations into land use in Henan and Hubei regions. Suspicions are that the investigation is due to Foxconn's founder's candidacy for Taiwan's presidential election.
