US software company with thousands of customers hit by hacker attack, customers' access tokens stolen

US software company Okta has suffered a security breach, with hackers gaining access to its customer support unit. Although Okta claims that only a small number of customers were affected, the hackers had access to the support platform for two weeks before the intrusion was contained. The hackers were reportedly able to view files uploaded by certain customers, potentially containing sensitive data.
