The Indian government's Fact Check department warns SBI account holders about these fake messages. It is advisable to ignore and not respond to such messages or emails asking for banking details to prevent fraud and scams. Report all instances to SBI at report.phishing@sbi.co.in. Verify with your bank or app before taking action on any received messages to avoid falling victim to scams that steal money from your bank account.
