These chatbots, such as 'Korean Girlfriend' and 'Virtual Sweetheart,' prompt users with questions about their dream girl and darkest secrets. OpenAI has banned GPTs dedicated to fostering romantic companionship or performing regulated activities. This use of conversational chatbots for romantic purposes is not new, as seen with Siri and Google Assistant receiving marriage proposals and the popularity of AI chatbot apps for friendship and companionship.
