How to place voice and video calls on X

Elon Musk-owned micro-blogging site X (formerly known as Twitter) introduced video and voice calls for iPhone users in October. The social media platform has now added this feature for Android users. Only premium subscribers can place calls on both Android and iOS, while all users can receive calls. X allows users to control who can call them from the Direct Messages Settings. Users need to send a Direct Message at least once before they can call another user. Android users also need push notifications enabled to get notified when they receive a call.
